JasperReports Opspack
The JasperReports Library is a popular open source reporting engine. It is entirely written in Java and is able to use data coming from any kind of data source and produce pixel-perfect documents that can be viewed, printed or exported in a variety of document formats including HTML, PDF, Excel, OpenOffice and Word.
What You Can Monitor
This Opspack allows you to monitor all the metrics you need to efficiently run a JasperReports server, providing service checks to monitor the JasperServer Process and Status.
Service Checks
| Service Check | Description |
|---|---|
| Process | Checks that the JasperServer Java process is running |
| Status | Checks that JasperServer is accepting HTTP connections |
Setup and Configuration
To configure and utilize this Opspack, you simply need to add the 'Application - JasperReports' Opspack to your Opsview Monitor system.
Step 1: Add the host template
Add the Application - JasperReports Host Template to your Opsview Monitor host.

Step 2: Apply changes and the system will now be monitored
